I give this book a high rating in spite of the fact that it is possibly the worst edited book I have ever read -- overflowing with typos, mis-spellings and nonsense phrases. Nevertheless, when you get past those distractions, this is a well-researched and detailed story of the fiercely evangelical atmosphere at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs during the author's and his two sons' tenures as students there. It is an expose of government sanctioned religious establishment that reinforces unfortunate stereotypes of Christian conservatism and its hurtful bigotry against other religious beliefs, including Judaism, which is the author's own tradition. The essential First Amendment right to freedom of religion is the consistent theme and passion of the writer, and he does a good job with the subject.
