A memoir by Allegra Huston about what it was like to lose her mother in a car crash and be raised in John Huston's household without truly being a part of any family -- at least until later life when she came to know her own biological father better. She is a good writer, which helps overcome the more stereotypical child of movie people glam aspects of similar lives.
