I read this book years ago, at first it was hard to follow because of the references to the family tree and previous events and I had to go back to the beginning a couple of times, once I figured out to make a few notes for myself so I wouldn't be so miserably lost it was the game changer.
I was very confused when I saw the 0 and half stars ratings but once I read the reviews I understood. The people that wrote these reviews were looking to read a book, as they mention the BOOK was a waste of time and the likes. This is a piece of literary work and a masterpiece. There is a reason countless universities offer courses that take a whole semester to study the intricacies of it. If you are looking for a book you will not appreciate nor understand this masterpiece. maybe look for those things that have some damsel in distress in the arms of some shirtless, long haired muscular and impressively good looking man. I think that might be more your speed.I pick those up too when I need something silly and lively to read, enjoy them too, keep asking myself where they these men are to be found too :) but you can not place books, and masterpieces at the same level.
There is this hint of fantasy entangled within this tale that is delightful. Be prepared to put in some time to get through this one
