Wow, I am not sure where to start with this book. Different for sure. Not sure I liked the style of writing. Darker and more serious than I was expecting, I was looking for a light, enjoyable read but instead got a dreary, sexually abusive, lifeless story. I suppose the writer was trying to explain how you can start off three generations of "trailer trash". And how there is no way for them to make their lives better that they are, just destined to repeat the former generations mistakes. Very odd writing. Sort of a journal but not really, kind of confusing. Don't think I would read anything else by this author. I picked up this book after seeing it reviewed as a book to read, new author to watch for. Don't feel like reading was a waste of time, but wouldn't recommend it to anyone as something they needed to read.
