I found this book to be just sort of okay. Nothing really horrible about it but nothing hugely interesting either. I think I was hoping for a bit more information on the Shakers but I really didn't learn anything new. The writing is competent and the mystery was okay but there wasn't a lot of character development so the whole thing just seemed sort of flat. On the plus side, it's just over 200 pages so it's a quick read!
