Whirlwind Redemption (Debra Cowan) This is a continuation of the book WHIRLWiND BABY. Quentin and Zoe have been apart for 7 years. In order to keep her sister in a school for the deaf, Zoe needs additional money. In order to get the funds from her inheritance, Zoe tells her grandfather that she is getting married.

This story is probably very satisfying for those who read the first book. For those others (like me), it didn't mean very much. I didn't find it interesting enough to finish it.

The Maverick and Miss Prim (Lynna Banning) This story takes place in the Smoke River, Oregon area; the author has written a number of books and short stories about the region. Nice story of a school teacher and her 5 pupils leaving the area because of an Indian scare and running into a US Marshall (who is after an outlaw).

Texas Cinderella (Judith Stacy) Molly Douglas is a wedding planner at her uncle's hotel. She has a secret that has helped her decide that she will never marry. Adam Crawford needs Molly's help to put together a wedding.

The only jarring note was the action Molly gets involved in -- considering her secret. It just didn't seem possible that she would engage in such behavior.
