Charming chick lit. Flora left her tiny island home of Mure for the big city of London to make something of herself. She's a paralegal in a big law firm and has a huge crush on the boss, a man who doesn't even know her name. When one of their biggest clients decides to set up a residence and a business on Mure, her boss decides to send her to convince the locals that it's a good idea. Flora knows that the people of Mure don't like outsiders and aren't too fond of her either since she left, but she can't say no, so back home she goes. Things aren't so great since she left, and her brothers aren't happy with how long she's been gone. The family farm is in trouble and Flora has a hard time convincing them and the people of Mure that she's not the enemy. Then her boss shows up and she has to spend a lot of one on one time with him. It's a great story about home, family, and making your own path in life.
