Growing Up Christian: Have You Taken Ownership of Your Relationship With God?

Book is pretty good. Read through it with my teenage son and it basically zeroes in on the unique challenges of church kids in three parts, Recognizing Blessings and Dangers, Thinking Biblically, and Living Biblically.
Most of it I'm sure has been covered in their church youth group(hopefully) but this also reiterates and expands on the how's and why's. It didnt wow me but it helped to start a conversation about these topics. My favorite chapter was about compromise in the world by comparing what the bible means and the world means which are blurred lines nowadays not only with the teens but adults as well. This wasnt a book that my child wanted to keep but it was worth it to go over and they include stories of illustrations like the story of Theodore Roosevelt and how he overcame challenges in his physical body. There are questions at the end of the chapter, little blurbs with extra quotes or bible verses, and a song for each chapter. I would recommend this but not keep on my shelf.
