Homicide Detective Eve Dallas is investigating the murders of two women in prominent social positions. Both were found with their throat slashed. In each crime a souvenir was taken. There is a long list of suspects for these murders, including Eve's own lover, Roarke.

This is the second book in this series and it's a good one. Along with the mystery, we see the progression of Roarke and Eve's relationship. Roarke is ready to move forward with their relationship, but Eve isn't ready yet. We also see the introduction of Peabody in this book. My rating: 5 Stars.
