When the practical Comte Saint-Juste arrived on the scene offering his services, Lady Emma was about to discover what the French dedication to l'amour really meant.

Review:
This book started well but could have been so much better. The relationship b/w Sainte-Juste and Lady Emma was not really developed. There's no explanation for why she would fall in love with someone she was willing to believe was a total fribble throughout most of the book. The author never really revealed much about Sainte-Juste's character.
