First published in 1954, and written by a mother, teacher and researcher. Many good ideas and a interesting look at some forgotten methods and view points of the past that could easily be applied now. Covers behavior, discipline, manners, sickness, emotional needs and more. I didn't agree with all of the authors ideas and opinions but she makes some very good points and simplifies things that have become confusing for parents today.
