Blows McMurray's textbook away. I picked up my copy of this textbook as a "fallback textbook" to reference when I got confused or wanted a different version of explanation to help clarify a question while studying McMurray as my main textbook. Over and over again I found that McMurray's text was simply not as complete, did not explain several abbreviations and even was missing some crucial information necessary to solving some of the problems in the text- a point of great frustration to me. Every time I turned to Dennison, Topping, and Caret's textbook I found not only the answers I was seeking but a whole helluva lot more, arranged in a really competent and excellent way. This is the textbook you should invest in if you want to actually understand the information given fully and well with a minimum of hair-ripping-out while you study. Five stars, most definitely.
