A fun, breezy romance. The story of a woman who wants teach a lesson to the man who took her virginity on a bet six years ago. The pacing was nice, situation worked. My biggest complaint is that there seemed to be a lot of contemporary dialogue. I'm no expert on how people spoke in that time, but phrases like "lusted after" don't sound very Regency to me. And there is a scene at the end which I presume is supposed to be sexy but I just thought it was creepy. But that is just a personal feeling about the situation.
Suzanne Enoch writes fun, not terribly deep or emotional stories. Her love scenes are about the same - not very deep, not very detailed, but they are there.
