I was very excited to read this book because I read a smaller story about the same characters in Inked. Unfortunately, this is a book I had previously tried to read, but the author meandered around with the story so much that I'd lost interest and didn't finish the book. Motivated by the better (2nd story) I got to the end and found out how Maxine Kiss got what started as a ring on her finger. Marjorie Lius storytelling really benefits when she lets someone edit her meanderings. I enjoyed her demon tattoo characters, but the story, not so much.
