Ruth Picardie was a 33 year old journalist when she died, just under a year after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. It seemed natural for her to write about her illness. This book contains the seven columns that she wrote before she became to ill to continue, and also contains correspondence from readers, emails to her friends. letters to her children (two year old twins) and reflections by her husband and sister. This book celebrates the triumph of a brave and wonderful woman's spirit.
