I borrowed this gripping novel from the library in audio book form and couldn't wait to get into my car to hear what would happen next. At first the detail of what happened to Suzie turned me off but what progressed with her family in the months after her disappearance became fascinating to listen to. Very creative and in a way comforting to hear Suzies' commentary as the years progress and she actually gets to experience something special to her. So, do not be put off by the subject matter.
