CIA Agent Nick Andris has been given the job of collecting intel on Holly Bradshaw. She is the Entertainment Writer for a major Denver newspaper. As far as Nick can tell, she likes to party, she likes designer clothes, and she likes to date. Her latest boyfriend is a concern to the CIA. Sasha Dudaev is not the art dealer he claims to be. He is a gun runner and a human trafficker. Nick has been charged with terminating both Sasha and Holly. Killing Sasha is not a problem for Nick since he is responsible for the death of Nick's fiancee. But Holly is an innocent bystander in this mess and Nick is having doubts about ending her life.

This is the last book in Pamela Clare's outstanding I-Team series. We've known Holly as the fun loving but shallow friend of the many I-Team members in the last six books. But Holly isn't what she seems. By day she writes for the newspaper. By night she is doing jobs for the CIA. This time she must get to know Sasha Dudaev and retrieve stolen government information from his safe. But things go wrong when Nick comes into the picture with an agenda of his own.

I could not put this book down. The characters are fun. The romance is hot and steamy. I believe every major character from the previous books makes an appearance in this one. It even has a great epilogue. If you haven't read any of the I-Team series, don't start with this one. Start at the beginning. There isn't a bad book in the bunch. My rating: 5 Stars.
