This book contains about 12 different quilts and instructions on creating them. The patterns are all extremely simple--almost all squares and right triangles--for ease of completion. The real focus of the book is how to select fabrics from your stash to make these patterns come to life, how the play of darks and lights can completely alter the feel of a traditional quilt block. I enjoyed looking through the book, and it's nice to read a quilt book with projects that you feel you could actually complete yourself!
