Twenty Blue Devils is the story of the murder of the manager of the Paradise Coffee plantation in Tahiti that grows Blue Devil coffee, the most expensive in the world. This is also the story of a family with secrets. Gideon Oliver, a forensic expert, is called in to help solve the murder, but finds that he is unwelcome in "Paradise."

The beginning of the book really kept my attention and hooked me on the story, but I found that it got a bit boring as the book wore on. This is the second of Elkins' books that I've read, and I'd place this one as number 2 on the list so far, in order of appeal to me.
