Very good book. Kalina, a Crow female warrior, adopted by her Crow father as a young girl, gets taken captive by an enemy warrior, Two Shadows, of the Blackfoot tribe. This BF tribe didn't take slaves but Two Shadows claims her as his. They fall in love. Two Shadows mother is white and he has a twin sister. The Bluecoats are preparing to attack the mighty BF tribe to rescue the white woman. Lots of drama and a good story. Keeps you interested.
