I have heard so much about Zane, and have noticed the popularity of her writing. Naturally, I expected "Sex Chronicles" to be exceptional neo erotica. I was rather dissapointed. She created no air of mystery in any of the stories, and she did little to build anticipation before the actual sex-scenes unfolded. Overall, about 3 or 4 stories in, I realized that they were all the same story, with a slightly different settin and set of characters. Also, there wasn't much about it that I found realistic, it was over the top and sensational. Dissapointing book!
