A good but not great erotic read about four childhood friends who were very close growing up and the outcome of one night of passion together. The story picks up a year after the incident after the woman has avoided their attempts to talk to her. The men all want her, but they know she won't pick just one of them because she loves them all just as they all love her. The plot is not strong. The romance is fine, but comes so far into the book after a great start - like over 100 pages into the book. Part of the reason I had trouble with this book is that the heroine is so iffy about the whole 4-some situation and that killed it for me. There is one really scorching scene that was written well, but the rest of it was just slightly steamy. There's nothing disturbing, no m/m at all, but this is a very graphic story so if it's not your cup of tea, skip this book.

The heroine is wimpy in some respects. This woman was supposed to be spirited, tough as nails police officer, but she gets tears in her eyes whenever one of the guys said something even remotely sentimental. She's basically a walking sponge!

Overall, this is a nice sexy story, but I've read better menage stories.
