A tale of the Old South after the Civil War. Reminds me of "Gone With the Wind" set in Charleston with rice growiing instead of Tara with cotton. Lizzie Tradd was born into an elegant world only to see brutal reality decend after the war. But she is determined to make a new life and no one can rob her of her spirit or the beauty and grandeur of the city she loved so dearly.
