This was a short, but sweet romantic novella. Ash is the proud father of baby Mia...proud single father as his no good ex cheated on him and left him high and dry while the surrogacy was in the works.
Ash went through with the surrogacy because he wanted to be a father terribly. But being a single dad is harder than he thought. Enter his new hot neighbor, Dr. Sean. The attraction was there from the start and while Ash tried to sabotage it, Sean was determined to make it work.
This was a nice fun listen. The characters were likeable, even though I wanted to punch Ash a few times. There was even a bit of character development from a side character. This was well written and narrated and I think I would be interested in checking out more of this series.
