English Professor Molly Ferrell has been obsessed with Poet Michael O'Flannery for years. Even though he died over twenty years ago, she wants to find out more about him and publish a paper on his works. So, Molly has ventured to O'Flannery's hometown in Maine to see what she can dig up from his friends and neighbors. But the people in this little town aren't talking. Jake Marley, a carpenter working on at the local inn where Molly is staying, is actually hostile toward her. Molly isn't sure what the town is hiding, but she is determined to find out.
Molly tries to interview various people in town. Jake is always right behind her, not letting them talk. It wasn't hard to figure out what was going on. There was a little bit of suspense near the end of the story. This story was worth the hour I put into it. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
