Unlike most of the Inspector Lynley series, this book is more about what led a young child to commit a murder. These are in fact, the events that led up to the shooting of Lynley's beloved wife, Helen. An emotional tale of abandoned children on the streets of London, this story will tear your heart more than any other Lynley title.
