I absolutely fell in love with this book! I've always been a big Bonanza fan and found this book so wonderful in feeling in details about the Cartwright's that the show just doesn't show or tell. Ben's life on ships and his first two wives, Elizabeth, Inger, and Adam and Hoss is just a wonderful seemingly true story. The morals ethics and way of life a way back then is just perfect. I enjoyed this book so very much and know it's hard to find the others in the series that I only read a chapter at night, just before I went to bed. Had to really contain myself so as to just not pick it up and read the whole thing in one sitting. Anyone who enjoys reading should enjoy this book!
