Book Review of Good Housekeeping Easy Gluten-Free!: Healthy & Delicious Recipes for Every Meal

I have no idea why the other person would have put only 2 1/2 stars, I think this is worth owning.

Here's the down side: probably 10% of the recipes call for you to go buy "gluten free bread crumbs" or "gluten free pita". I don't like those. Plus, the first 23 pages or so are the typical, all about celiac and living gluten free. Pass on that.

Here's the up side: 90% of the recipes have common ingredients that you'll find in any well stocked gluten free kitchen. Nothing way out there or bizarre, except for a bit of curry paste. They have a wide variety of very flavorful recipes. My favs are the chewy oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, morning glory muffins, baked macaroni and cheese, and crustless tomato ricotta pie.

If you're buying this for the pizza crust recipe . . . you should probably look in a different book, LOL. But if you're looking for some new GF recipes to augment your staples, this is a GREAT book.
