Travis Henry walks into Cathy O'Dell's bar on New Year's Eve and walks right up and plants one on her. She's taken aback but secretly thrilled cause he's definitely a hottie and she's lonely in this little one horse town. That is until she finds out he'll be hanging around drilling for oil practically in her backyard.

The sexual tension, the double entendres, the snappy repartee all make for a rip roaring good time. And we mustn't forget all the country music references that for a country music fan, really set the proper atmosphere. It's amazing how the author found the perfect songs and used the exact lyrics to describe what Cathy was feeling. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading Larissa's story next.
