It took me awhile to finally get around to reading this. It is a lengthy book and it took me almost a month to get through it. I really enjoyed it though and it was worth the committment!

Initially, I thought all of the historical details would become tedious. However, that was not the case. These details were intermingled so gracefully throughout the story, in a way that no history course I've taken was ever able to manage, that it kept me interested and wanting to know how all of the pieces would come together.
