Serial killer loose during Roman festival games in A.D.72 and body parts are turning up in Romes water supply. Falco is a tough PI working in ancient Rome. He is totally convincing in this roll we normally think of as completely American. The reader gets a wonderful view of Rome in the early years of the empire from the seamier side of the city.
