Amazing book. It's heartbreaking and sincere. I can't believe what the son went through before he was 21 years old. And the parents- we went through issues with our daughter, nothing like this, and I could feel the pain and angst that they were going through. Many colorful, wordy descriptions of situations, landscapes, conditions- I usually don't like that- but this author has a gift of words. Everything flowed together. Even the descriptions of his research and findings. I almost didn't want it to end, but as of today, 2020, the ending is a happy ending.
