Alison is a Dutch artist who meets a British soldier while in England. As World War II starts, she must hide priceless art and Jewish children from the Germans, while hoping to see the man she loves again. I thought this book was very good, with plenty of plot twists. I wish there had not been a somewhat cliffhanger ending and hope it is resolved in another book.
