By the folks who gave us the Black Lagoon series, it's pretty good! It more or less follows the traditional Hansel and Gretel story, the pictures are full of visual gags, the dialogue should appeal especially to 2nd through 4th graders (it's a 3.0 AR reading level), and quite often, adults will laugh, too.
