Arclight caught me by surprise. It kind of reminded me of Avatar, but in a fleeting way. Science Fiction YA Dystopian is how I would classify the book and I thought the world-building to be very strong and clever. In fact, I kind of figured out a few things about two thirds into the book, but was still surprised by a few twists. Marina is an intriguing character who continued to surprise me with her actions and inaction. Sometimes I had goosebumps running up my spine and at other times I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. I'm definitely going to be looking for this author's next work! I was mesmerized!
