This is a very short hardback quote book full of children's observations and wishes. It's amazing how wise some kids are! Funny, too. Very colorful illustrations.

"Robert Bender asked over a hundred real-life kids what their ideas of a perfect world might be. Here's what a few of them had to say:

'It would be a perfect world if my mom would finally realize that I'm never going to clean my room.'--Jimmy Lutzko age 10

'The world would be perfect if the clouds were marshmallows and you could fly up and eat them.'--Lizzie Sovia age 11

'If your mom didn't always embarras you in front of your friends, telling them about the day you fell in the toilet...'--Brianne Fester age 11

'I could turn my brother into an ant and step on him.'--Craig Pais age 8

'If [kids] ran publishing companies, there'd be a lot more books like Bender's.'--Publisher's Weekly on A Most Unusual Lunch (Dial)
