This is not the typical type of book I read. However, I teach a curriculum theme for infants called "Feathers" and was interested mostly in the CD that accompanies this book. There are some absolutely beautiful photographs to share with children (and adults) as well. The CD is interesting and has many birds on it that I do not hear natively. However, I didn't realize that Mr. Elliott talks before each birdsong making it difficult to just turn on the birds to listen to them. I would say if you are interested in ornithology this is a beautiful book to own.
