The Amaranth Enchantment is an interesting young adult variation of the Cinderella story. It revolves around Lucinda, an orphaned girl, who is thrown from high society into the cruel clutches of her step-aunt and uncle. Lucinda is forced to work at their goldsmithy when she meets a prince, a thief, and a witch all on the same day.
