It seemed like it took ages for this book to hit the bookstores but the wait was well worth it. I had so many questions throughout the series and almost all were answered. My main question was, what the heck is Barrons? I was torn between good and bad throughout the entire ride. The shocker for me was finding out who killed Alina. The intensity of this novel was unbelievable, to say the least. So much was going on throughout the 600 pages that I was completely immersed in the world Moning created. The creativity was definitely off the charts in this installment. I just hate that it ended, even though it was time to wrap it all up. With that said, Shadowfever was, in my opinion, the best final chapter of a series to date. Looking back on the series, I want to go back and read it all over again. What a fabulous ride it's been!!
