If you like sex with a storyline told around it, then this book is for you. The basis of the story concerns a group of the ton that is throwing a tournament for illegitimate and third and fourth born sons. The prize at the end of the tournament is a title, loads of money and a biddable bride. The brides up for auction is just that, biddable, however her friend/companion is not. A woman what caused a scandal in her younger years, she had been trying to reduild her good name ever since. Enter Deville, the man who everyone assumes is going to win the tourney. He's a man who has no care for what anyone thinks of him. Caroline has made it her goal to make sure he does not win the tourney because of his scandalous ways. Deville has decided to seduce Caroline, and make her his.

The book had an interesting premise and was entertaining. I didn't enjoy the amount of sex scenes that were too numerous to count. The fact that he seduced her within five minutes of meeting in broad daylight, outside was unbelievable, and that part of the story went downhill from that point.
