Book #1 in the J.D. Robb "In Death" Series. Fantastic series. Written by Nora Roberts. Futuristic homicide lieutenant Eve Dallas and Roarke - a gazillionaire who in Eve's words, "Owns half the known world and space too!" who has a shady past and falls head over heals with this NY homicide lieutenant. I am addicted to this series!
