There are many interesting recipes in this book such as Bags of Gold, which are cheese dumplings cooked in tomato soup; Beet Relish; Rhubarb Salad; Fish Divan; Spicy Shrimp and Bacon Kabobs. There are also more typical recipes like Freezer Slaw, Blackberry Jell-O Salad, Old Fashioned Dumpling (the ones like big noodles), Southern Pork Chops, Whole Fried Okra and Hog Jowls and Turnip Greens.
