FBI Agent Atlee Pine is on leave because of anger issues. Nearly thirty years ago, Atlee's twin sister Mercy was kidnapped from her bed and never seen again. Atlee was injured by the assailant and was in the hospital for months. The man who took Mercy was never found. Atlee decides to do some investigating on the case that changed her life. She, along with her assistant Carol Blum, return to rural Georgia to talk to anyone who remembers what happened. But as Atlee starts her investigation, a local woman is found murdered. She has been dressed as a bride. Soon another body is found. The police request Atlee's help in finding a potential serial killer.

The second book in the Atlee Pine series is just as good as the first. This time she is working on two cases simultaneously. I liked the mystery. Even though I guessed the killer correctly, the story was still entertaining. My rating: 4.5 Stars.
