Oh I wanted to love this book! I heard her in an interview and I love her thoughts on diet, lifestyle and all around enjoying food. Relish is about how to enjoy your food, include some style into your home and how to live an amazing life.

First off, there's a lot of reading. Recipes wise, I think recipes make up for 1/3 of the actual book. Yes, so don't go into it thinking that it's loaded with recipes because it's not. Though the photos are beautiful in the book! But there's no nutritional info whatsoever except how many people each recipe serves. Boo! The ingredients list can get long, but the items are all pretty accessible, that is you can find them generally in most grocery stores. The recipes that looked good to me would be the crispy baked breakfast potatoes, hot grains and coconut creme, kale salad with hemp seeds and parmesan, quinoa with chickpeas, currents and fried shallots, italian tuna salad with apples and olives, creamy zucchini-tarragon soup, veggie, bean and cheese enchiladas, stir-fried rice and lastly, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.

She shares tips and suggestions on how to stock your kitchen with healthy foods, great list if you're a list type of person, shopping at the grocery store (what's GMO, what are healthy fats and carbs), how to host a party and the non-food oriented section, taking care of your body (yoga, make-up, stretching, clothing tips, meditation, etc.) creating a cozy home, taking trips, and so on.

Overall, the book is okay, but I feel like it has too much going on. It's definitely geared towards females probably 20-45 somethings, maybe single?? I like where she's coming from, but it seems like a whole life makeover. I'm not sure I want to read book that has recipes and make-up tips. Feels more like a women's magazine like Good Housekeeping or Real Simple that has a little bit of everything.
