This book had some real insight into the life of middle school children. This is a real longitudinal study of middle school kids. It isnt a parenting book, nor does it offer any solutions to how to parent a child at this age, it just reports what is happening to kids at this age. It helped me better understand my kids, and what is going on in the mind of kids this age. I took that info and applied it in to deal with some parenting issues, and too not to stress too much about my kids, but to be very careful that they dont get into trouble.
