Great fantasy book, has everything you would want, over-thrown throne, double-crossing villains, villain who isn't quite a villain, very capable Princess who hid her abilities for years, etc. Well written, over-all a good plot, with one exception, had a quibble with a plot point that didn't make sense to me, only reason it's not a five star. This is the same author who writes the urban fantasy Horngate Witches Series, and her earlier books do not disappoint. This is the fourth in the series, but does stand alone well if you haven't read the first three.
