I must admit, I was a little leery of reading the Twilight series because I had heard so much about it and wasn't buying the hype. However, being an eternal fan of vampires and a hopeless romantic, I thought I'd give it a try; I polished off all three books in a weekend!
New Moon is a pulse-pounding continuation to the love and taboo of Twilight; a definite page turner! If you have not yet tried Twilight on for size, I strongly recommend the saga to anyone look for a sit-down-and-read-all-weekend story. As mentioned, I was leery of getting pulled into the hype, but its all well-deserved! The characters are flawed, making them believable, and the plot lines are not always direct, making them real - life doesn't always go as planned! All in all, a definite keeper for the bookshelf!
