Unfortunately, this book wasn't that great until the last 75 pages or so. It was not well planned out and was a finicky story.

Christy is leaving Last Chance (which I read the book for that one and liked). Her brother informed her that her mama was sick and he couldn't take care of her that well. On her way out there is a hold up and she is shot. She meets a man in Tombstone named Nevada who has some history of being on the run and Christy also has some history she hopes never comes up. The two of them feel for a young teen girl who is trapped in prostitution and see some problems coming up all around them.

I understand that a lot of what was written in this book come from actual historical events in Tombstone, but it was jumpy and not too well written. I didn't even have an attachment or care for the characters until later on. I almost stopped reading the book after the first 100 pages being a let down. The last bit of the book was really wonderful and filled with lessons on forgiveness.

If you enjoy the Love Finds You In series of books (as I do), then yes, read it. Otherwise, it wasn't that worth it.
