Written by an old-school male therapist who has never been cheated on and has no idea other than listening to other people what it's actually like to go through this. "Apparently, it is not difficult to be married to someone who has had an affair." p 132. REALLY??? I politely DISAGREE. "If you are the one who is being betrayed, it is horribly unfair, but your marriage is in your hands. Don't mess it up by carrying on...". p288 I'm sorry mr never-been-cheated-on-"expert". I should take the months-long unfolding of the news of my husband having an affair in the business I helped him build, in front of ALL of our friends and colleagues with a little bit of decorum. Save your money. Go get a book by someone who has a clue what they are talking about.
