Interesting book. Very strange tale. I have no doubt of the nature of the the treatment that the Imperial Japanese Military inflicted on occupied islands. This is the first time I have ever heard them described as generous, polite, and honorable. I wonder if this is told through the eyes of a child or a collaborator. I would really like to read the story as told by someone else who was in the camps at the time.
